The leather this tote bag is made from is a unique side that we had been saving for a special project. It’s a stamped Horween side with a bit of mystery behind it. We purchased it through a company that repurposes unsold leather by adding oils and waxes for a rich finish with lots of pullup. Due to this process we are unsure which Horween leather it is, but it is a vegetable tan. With our personal commitment to reducing waste we are happy to embrace this reclamation of castoff leather.

  • Warm brown oil infused veg tan shows lots of character and pull up

  • Accent leather is crocodile embossed cowhide in golden buckskin color

  • Hemmed edges for a refined look and smooth feel.

  • The front pocket is lined with dark brown goatskin to help prevent stretching and give a finished look

  • Interior pocket with hemmed edge

  • Sewn with natural color bonded nylon thread

  • Strap edges are hand burnished

  • All hardware is solid brass, which will never rust.

  • The rivets are tubular rivets with caps, not double cap rivets, which often fail.

  • YKK brass #5 zipper with leather pull tab

  • Includes a key keeper with brass snap
