The leather this bucket bag is made from is a unique side that we had been saving for a special project. It is a stamped Horween side with a bit of mystery behind it. We purchased it through a company that repurposes unsold leather by adding oils and waxes for a rich finish with lots of pullup. Due to this process we are unsure which Horween leather it is, but it is a vegetable tan. With our personal commitment to reducing waste we are happy to embrace this reclamation of castoff leather.

Here are the specifics of this leather bucket bag made here in our shop on the ranch:

  • Warm brown oil infused veg tan shows lots of character and pullup

  • Accent leather is crocodile embossed cowhide in an antique turquoise color

  • Hemmed edges for a refined look and smooth feel.

  • The front pocket is lined with dark brown goatskin to help prevent stretching and give a finished look

  • Interior pocket with hemmed edge

  • Sewn with natural color bonded nylon thread

  • Strap edges are hand burnished

  • All hardware is solid brass, which will never rust.

  • The rivets are tubular rivets with caps, not double cap rivets, which often fail.

  • Matching brass snap closure may be added at no additional charge
